I drive to rooms and locations in order to see people. This allows me to see people in a wider area. Currently, I have three professional therapy room practices and also offer outside therapy locations.
Counselling & Emotion Focused Therapy
Almost all of my work is evidence-based practice, using Emotion Focused Therapy ( EFT – Psychotherapy – is not to be confused with ‘tapping’). Evidence-based practice means that the methods I use have been validated by research control trials (RCT).
Originally, EFT was developed for treating depression. EFT continued to branch out and treat many other types of problems, such as trauma, anxiety, relationship problems, and borderline processes. The therapy uses ‘marker guided’ interventions and is underpinned by Humanistic person-centered counselling approaches. EFT for individuals and EFT for couples are both related but each method is distinctive from the other. EFT for couples is based on understanding how attachment patterns interact.
